Three cities, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur are filled with arts and architecture of 13^th Century standing tall and lively surviving throughout the generations. Seven UNESCO world heritage listed monuments lies in these cities. The ancient wisdom of pottery, wood carving and stone carving are still practiced which is a fascinating discovery in these cities. Another key attraction to this package is the birth place of Lord Buddha and thus the origin of Buddhism. The ruins of the palace, stupas and monasteries around Lumbini are very unique and astonishing. Chitwan National Park, formerly known as Royal Chitwan National Park has an area of 932 square km. The park is located on the bank of Narayani River and Rapti River. Various bio diverse flora and fauna are found in this National Park including one horned Rhino and Tiger.

Itinerary:

Day 01: ARRIVAL:

You will be received at the International Airport by Plan Nepal Travels and Tour staff and take you to the hotel where you will be discussed about the plans of your adventure.

Day 02: Cultural Excursion around the Kathmandu Valley

Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur (Patan) Valley are treasured with 12^th century and 13^th century old arts and architecture thriving throughout generations. The places of interest are Pashupatinath (Hindu temple), Boudhanath (Buddhist shrine), Kopan Monastery, Swayambhunath (Buddhist shrine, popularly known as monkey temple) and Kathmandu Durbar square (Durbar square means the ancient palace of the then Malla King). Day 03: Exploring Bhaktapur and Nagarkot

Among the three major cities, Bhaktapur is the oldest city among them and it contains more than 100 temples. It is amazing to find the aged old technique of pottery still continued by generations. The arts and architecture of temples are stunning. After exploring Bhaktapur, you will be driven to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is famed for viewing the Langtang Mountain range along with Ganesh Himal (Himal means Mountain in Nepalese term), Jugal Himal and even Everest if the weather is very clear. Day 04: Drive to Chitwan

The drive to Chitwan from Kathmandu is 05 hours by a tourist bus. You will be picked by our partner hotel and you will be briefed about the jungle safari activities that you will be doing.

Day 05: Safari Activities at Chitwan

The safari activities like Jungle safari, Elephant back riding, Bird watching, canoeing, Visit to Elephant breeding center, visit to typical Tharu culture village, etc will be done. Overnight sleep at Hotel in Chitwan

Day 06: Chitwan to Pokhara

The drive to Pokhara from Chitwan will take 2 hours and 30 minutes. The drive is a thrilling adventure in itself. The journey will encounter Trishuli River and dazzling hills landscapes. Overnight sleep at Hotel in Pokhara

Day 07: Excursion of Pokhara

The sunrise view can be captured from Sarangkot with the early morning drive. Other places of attractions in Pokhara are Phewa Lake, Mahendra cave, Davis fall, Seti River, Begnas Lake, Trekking/Mountaineering museum, etc. Overnight sleep at Hotel in Pokhara

Day 08: Pokhara to Kathmandu (By tourist bus or Flight)

The drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by Tourist bus marks the end of the trip. The duration of the trek is 06 hours. You also have option to take a flight back to Kathmandu which is only 30 minutes.

Day 09: DEPARTURE

You will be dropped to International airport for final departure.
