This trek explores the deep valleys of the Khumbu region, with time to venture villages, their lifestyle and monasteries and receive the incredible hospitality of the renowned Sherpa people. The adventure begins with thrilling flight to Lukla with a view of Northern mountain giants from the window of aircraft. The flight itself is a thrilling experience as Lukla airport is one of the airport that lies in the higher altitudes. After landing at Lukla, the trail opens out to start trekking to the village of Phakding through Choblung in the Dudh Koshi Valley which is rich in beautiful pine and rhododendron forests. After Kusum Drargka, a large stream, the trail crosses the Dudh Kosi river at Phakding. we will be walking alongside the Dudh Koshi river whose water source is from prime destinations, the Gokyo Lake.Next Day we begins our way to Namche Bazaar, considered as the gateway of Everest Region. It is main hub offering numerous activities available such as Pool House, Modern Luxury Lodges and Bakery, Laundry, Equipment Store, this place has everything you need for your trek. Enjoy this beautiful Himalayan town. You will also have the Acclimatization well known with "Exploring Day" in Namche Bazaar. Starts with gentle uphill climbing till we reach Everest View Hotel. After Hike get back to Namche Bazaar.

Our Next Destination is Tengboche Monastery another magnificent village of this Everest Region. The incredible views of Mt. Khangtiaga, Mt. Thamserku, and the Nuptse – Lhotse wall with Mt. Everest towering above can be captured on this trial. Moreover, spectacular view of Mt. Ama Dablam and the other neighbouring peaks makes this trek a wonderful adventure experience. From here the trail to Gokyo Lake and the trail to Everest Base Camp separates. On the way take lunch with Amadablam at the backdrop dominating the surrounding. The trail steeps down until we reach Phunki Tenga that follows steep up through beautiful forests with numerous views of villages in the horizon. Tengboche has Biggest Buddhist monasteries where you can attend daily prayers for a whiff of the Buddhist culture. Finishing out Short Everest Trek we get back to Monjo via Khumjung Village en-route visit Hillary School and Khumjung monastery which houses the scalp of Yeti. Finally get back Lukla followed by next day back to Kathmandu.

Detail Itinerary of Everest Panorama Trek

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu Airport. Transfer to Hotel.
Upon your arrival the Kathmandu Airport, our representative will be waiting outside with your name plate. We would offer you a Warm Welcome and transfer to the respective hotel. We will introduce you to trek leader and have a meeting where you can ask any question. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Flight to Lukla and Hike up to Phakding
The trip will start with the flight from Kathmandu airport to Lukla. The flight reveals stunning view of Himalayan range bordering Nepal and Tibet. The duration of flight is approximately 40 minutes. Lukla is located at an elevation of 2,850m. The name ‘Lukla’ literally means “place of sheep.” Lukla Airport is one of the Airports situated at the high altitudes. From Lukla, you start trekking to the village of Choblung in the Dudh Koshi Valley which is rich in beautiful pine and rhododendron forests. The trial is easy as you follow the river’s course, passing through the village of Ghat. The first day’s stop will be at Phakding village. The total duration of the hike will be 4 hours.

Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m)
After your breakfast, the journey to Namche starts. The trial encompasses short ups and downs. After crossing Dudh Koshi from the village of Benkar, stunning view of Thermserku peak can be captured (6,608 m). Crossing the long suspension bridge over the Bhote Koshi River, we reach Monjo, situated below peak of Thermserku. At the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park, you will need to produce your trekking permit. The walk to Namche Bazaar from Jorsalle village is an uphill path, where a magnificent view of Kwangde Peak with its surrounding peaks and Kusum Kangru can be captured. As you ascend higher, you can have the panoramic view of Nuptse, Lhotse, and Taweche Peak. The final destination will be at Namche Bazaar (Bazaar means market place in Nepalese term) which is full of eye dazzling colourful houses. The duration of the trek is 05 hours.

Day 04: Acclimatization Day in Namche and Explore Around
Exploring day in the Namche Bazaar. It is a great place to explore with many souvenir shops, restaurants, bars, and a good German Bakery cafe too. Many trekkers who are on the way to Everest Base Camp, Gokyo Lake or Ama Dablam make one stop at Namche Bazaar for Acclimatization which is very important while doing a high altitude trekking. This time will provide someone enough time to adapt themselves to the high altitude. As Today we will walk up to the Everest View Hotel. We will enjoy a cup of coffee with the amzing views of Mount Everest, Nupste, Ama Dablam, Khongde, Kangtegha, Thamserku, Kusum Khangru, and Khumbi Yu La. Visit spectacular place perched on top of Namche Bazaar, with breathtaking views of the surrounding snow capped giants and the deep valleys way down below. There is also a museum providing with various information on the history of the Himalayas, the geographical information of the area, cultural practices, mountaineering history, and flora and fauna of the region. Afterward, We Hike back to Namche Bazaar. Overnight at Lodge in Namche Bazaar. (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included).

Day 05: Trek to Tengboche (3860m)
After a 20 minutes climb to the top ridge of Namche Bazaar, the trial follows few short up and downs with magnificent view of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thermaserku and Kwangde-Ri peak. After a pleasant walk of two hours the trial descend to Imjatse river at Phungitenga (3,250m), a small settlement with couple of teahouses in the midst of the alpine woods of mostly silver fir, blue pines, rhododendron and some few magnolia and birch trees. After Phungitenga the walk is strenuous for an hour all the way to Tengboche. Tengboche is famous for the big Monastery or Gompa (a Nepalese term for Monastery) also known as Tengboche Monastery. As you ascend further, you will encounter the large field with campsites and teahouses, lodges beneath the towering peak Ama Dablam in the north with Mt. Lhotse and Lhotse Shar towards north east. Tengboche is located at an altitude of 3860 meters. The total duration to reach the destination is 05 hours.

Day 06: Trek to Khumjug (3780m)
The route will be retraced back to Shanasha, where the trail from Khumjung, Gokyo and Namche meets. From here the path follows away from the main busy path, the walk winds up all the way to Khumjung-Khunde Valley. Khumjung is a sleepy farm village with the only monasteries. The total duration to reach the destination is 04 hours.

Day 07: Trek to Monjo (2835m)
An easy day downhill walk from Khumjung brings you to its sister village at Khunde, where you can visit the only hospital in the whole of Khumbu area, built by Sir Edmund Hillary Foundation. Passing Khunde hospital, the trail leads south passing thorough farm fields and long mani prayer wall. A short uphill climb from here brings to the top ridge of Syangboche air strip. From this spot it’s a big descend to the Dudh Koshi river bed. The walk will continue until Monjo, which is located just near after the Sagarmatha National Park entrance and exit. The total duration to reach the destination is 04 hours.

Day 08: Trek to Lukla (2840m)
The last day of the trek can be done at slow pace, enjoying the lush green scenery around. The trial descends slowly. The only long climb will be just before Lukla which will take approximately 45 minutes from a place called Choplung. The total duration to reach the destination is 04 hours

Day 09: Flight to Kathmandu
Early Morning along with guide you will walk to Lukla Airport. Flight may be interrupted by bad climatic conditions so we might have to wait for appropriate weather. Fly back to Kathmandu in schedule time and transfer to hotel. Scenic Flight is approximately 40 minutes. You will have enough time in Kathmandu to explore around, Shopping and take rest. We will pass you trekking permits, TIMS Cards and many more for memory of Himalaya. Overnight at 3 Star Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 10: Departure
Today is time to Say Farewell to Nepal. Enjoy Last Minutes Shopping, Breakfast or Rest at Hotel. A representative from Plan Nepal will meet you at Hotel adnd drive you to Kathmandu Airport for your flight. It is good to be at airport 3 hours before your scheduled flight time.
